| Sandy's 5 tips for your every day life |
| 1. Gratitude - while brushing your teeth, think of 5 things you are grateful for 2. Affirmations- while in the shower make 5 statements that you would like yourself to believe or be like ex. I am strong inside and out I have tons of energy I am in perfect health 3. Visualize your Day - while commuting, driving, taking a walk Think about how you want your day to play out - go threw the steps in your mind 4. Breath - whenever you are tense, angry, stressed just take 5 deep breaths before reacting whether your mad act your kids, husband, boss, or stuck in traffic it will change how you deal with the situation 5. Have fun - do something for just 5 minutes that you enjoy dance around the house, garden, call a friend, work out, take a walk sing, anything that makes you smile - it could be longer but even 5 minutes will make a difference. Besides mentioning the 5 things you should do everyday I am also going to demonstrate with my fitness model - Betsy Cast how the power of the mind can change the amount of calories you burn and the amount of strength you have during an exercise. I will have her say different things out loud to demonstrate how it changes the activity. |
